Song of the Open Road
"Mon enfant! I give you my hand!
I give you my love, more precious than money,
I give you myself, before preaching or law;
Will you give me yourself? will you come travel with me?
Shall we stick by each other as long as we live?"
~Walt Whitman, 1900
I give you my love, more precious than money,
I give you myself, before preaching or law;
Will you give me yourself? will you come travel with me?
Shall we stick by each other as long as we live?"

Hurry Up and Wait
Well, the GRE is over (kind of, I'll certainly be retaking it in the fall), my bags are packed, and my plane leaves Richmond at the quite reasonable time of 11:30am tomorrow. With two summer classes and studying for the GRE, I've hardly had any time to actually realize that I'm going to Oxford tomorrow. It's okay though, I have plenty of time to think tomorrow during my 10hour(!!!) layover at JFK. That's almost enough time to go check out the Statue of Liberty. Too bad my dad would throw me off of said statue if I risked missing my flight to London. Guess I'll just have to read some Shakespeare instead.
